: What Makes Us Unique...

We have been here over 27 years with Director Olga Sharninghausen leading a staff of teachers some of whom have been here that long too. Other teachers have joined the staff and never left, adding their 15-18 years of experience. Some teachers have been moms of children enrolled in the school who have loved it so much they have joined the family. That's what makes Oak View unique...a staff that is a family working together to inspire and nurture children. A staff that is given the freedom to be creative and share that creativity with the children.

We try to help the parents understand the different developmental stages of these early years and interpret the way their particular child learns. We feel that every person, no matter how small, is fully a whole person in his or her own right. We hope that everything we do affirms that.

Oak View Nursery School is on top of a hill in a former elementary school. It has a large playground, lots of bikes, and four big classrooms that are bright with children's artwork. Doesn't this sound like a great place to play!
